
Al-Taj News – Investment Minister Dr. Tareq Abu Ghazaleh said that the Jordanian-European Investment Conference, scheduled to be held on November 19 at the Dead Sea, represents a practical platform for strengthening the strategic and comprehensive partnership between Jordan and the European Union and translating it into investment partnerships and quality projects that create added value for the national economy and mutual benefits for both sides.
He added that the investment opportunities to be presented during the Jordanian-European Investment Conference were selected according to criteria related to economic feasibility, readiness, and the ability to attract investment and financing, as well as their capacity to achieve a tangible economic and development impact, stressing that these opportunities represent promising areas for growth and expansion, job creation, increased production and exports, and the transfer of technology and knowledge.
Presenting 40 Highly Ready Investment Opportunities to Europeans
The investment minister explained that Jordan is preparing to present around 40 highly ready investment opportunities to European investors, as part of a portfolio comprising more than 120 investment opportunities listed on the official “Invest in Jordan” platform, reflecting the diversity of available opportunities and the Kingdom’s ability to attract quality investments and European partnerships in priority sectors.
Abu Ghazaleh pointed out that the sectors to be addressed are priority sectors, including high-value-added industries, foremost among them pharmaceutical, chemical, food, electronic, and textile industries, in addition to renewable energy, energy storage, green hydrogen, water, transport, logistics services, the digital economy, artificial intelligence, and data centers, as well as mining and strategically important minerals.
